So What Are Essential Oils?

ESSENTIAL OILS ARE NATURAL AROMATIC COMPOUNDS found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers and other parts of plants. If you have ever enjoyed the scent of a rose,  or the aroma of freshly cut mint or citrus peel, you have experienced the aromatic qualities of essential oils. Essential oils are the essence of plants. They can uplift the mood, calm the senses and elicit powerful emotional responses.

Why would someone use Essential Oils?

Essential oils have been used throughout history and across many cultures not only for their aromas but also for their therapeutic benefits. Essential oils are commonly used to SUPPORT all the various body systems, from the cardiovascular, digestive, endocrine, immune, integumentary, lymphatic, muscular, nervous, reproductive, respiratory, and urinary system. By working on a cellular level, essential oils  ASSIST the body to bring back into balance what is out of balance, Thus ALLOWING the body to heal itself.  

Essential Oils are commonly used to help with:

Head or Muscle Tension

Stressful & / or anxious feelings

Boost energy levels

Regulate Emotions

Body system support

How Do You Use Essential Oils?

There are three common methods of use:  aromatically, topically and ingestion*.

*Please be sure to use only pure, high quality, therapeutic grade essential oils and always read the labels for recommended use.

Examples of these methods would be: diffusing essential oils, bath salts, lotions, serums and body oils
